FIREBALL Fest. reveals fourth lineup wave — seven acts from Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan, all festival first-timers

FIREBALL Fest. returns to Lotte Taoyuan Baseball Stadium this 11/14–11/15, having already revealed Fire EX., Dragon Ash, Sambomaster, Crystal Lake, EGO-WRAPPIN', Gummy B, and Hsien Ching. Today (8/26) the festival reveals a fourth lineup wave: Japanese girl group HANA, Golden Melody Best New Artist Pei-Yu Hung, Golden Melody Best Indigenous Vocalist Kasiwa, DSPS — riding acclaim for their latest album "yolk on rice" — Thai band GYMV, Golden Melody Best Taiwanese Male Vocalist Chen Yi-heng, and rising rapper C.Holly: seven acts spanning Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan, all making their FIREBALL Fest. debut.

Japanese seven-member girl group HANA broke through on the audition show "No No Girls," produced by famed rapper CHANMINA with SKY-HI as executive producer. Their 2024 debut single "ROSE" topped the Billboard Japan Hot 100 within a week of release, and second single "Blue Jeans" repeated the feat; in under a year, the group won Best Dance Song at Japan's "MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026." This marks HANA's second visit to Taiwan and their first-ever appearance at a Taiwanese rock festival.

Making her FIREBALL Fest. debut, Pei-Yu Hung is one of this year's most closely watched female vocalists in Mandopop, having earned eight nominations at the 34th Golden Melody Awards for "Silver Lining," including a win for Best New Artist, and a Best Female Mandarin Vocalist nomination in 2025 for her second album "Still Moving." On her first FIREBALL Fest. appearance, she said: "I hope to bring my work to everyone with the same heat and passion as a fireball." Asked whose set she's most excited for, she laughed that if she got to hear EGO-WRAPPIN' live, "I'd probably just be screaming in the crowd."

Bangkok's GYMV, formerly known as Gym and Swim since forming in 2013, has played major Asian festival stages including Hong Kong's Clockenflap. Now returned under the new name GYMV, the band blends electronic and rock elements into a slightly distorted sound — this marks GYMV's first return to Taiwan since the rebrand.
The rest of this wave's Taiwanese lineup includes Paiwan rapper Kasiwa, a past Golden Melody Best Indigenous Vocalist winner; DSPS, riding strong acclaim and over five million streams for "yolk on rice"; singer-songwriter Chen Yi-heng, Golden Melody Best Taiwanese Male Vocalist winner for "Canned Tower"; and rising rapper C.Holly, who broke through with "Three Won't Marry."
This year's festival has expanded its roster of international acts even further. Early-bird tickets have already sold out, with presale tickets counting down — fans are urged not to miss their chance.
