A free community touring programme built around a single question: what happens when a band known for keeping people company brings a set of last-century classics into a senior day-care centre and performs face to face with the residents?
In Utero and the band Huan Huan launched In Utero Present Vol.3: Inner Voices of That Day, a free community tour running May 7–9, visiting the Zhongshan Senior Residence and Service Centre in Taipei, the Huatan Angi Day Care Centre in Changhua, and the bookstore Ū Tsheh-tiàm in Beidou, Changhua — bringing cross-generational gatherings to seniors and neighbours around Mother's Day.

What we were actually solving
The brief was not "book a tour". It was to find rooms where the music would land differently than it does in a venue — and then to make the logistics of those rooms invisible to the band. To make the songs easy to sing along to at any age, Huan Huan spent the run-up re-learning a stack of classics spanning the mid-century to the early 2000s.
It's been a long time since I listened this closely to songs from that generation... it gave me a glimpse of a Taiwan that had lived through something hard and something beautiful — the same era our grandparents worked through to get by.

The final stop, at the Beidou bookstore, was open to the whole neighbourhood — singer Coco even duetted with her own father on stage, and an impromptu karaoke session broke out afterward. Several residents stayed in their seats after the last note, thanking the band through tears. Across all three stops, attendance held far past what the team expected — audiences stayed seated the whole time, sometimes just listening, sometimes clapping along.
